Ordinary World

The book is a million-word novel written by Lu Yao, a Chinese writer, offering a panoramic vision of China's contemporary urban and rural life. Ordinariness is the nature of life.

The book tells common stories from the perspective of ordinary people's ordinary lives, but extraordinarily depicts the images of many ordinary people at all levels of society at that time.

Labor and love, frustration and pursuit, pain and joy, and daily life and huge social conflicts are intertwined, which profoundly shows the difficult and tortuous path that ordinary people have taken in the historical process of the era.

Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow

The book is written by Yuval Harari in the field of science and technology theory. The book mainly tells the story that after the 21st century, the Internet of Everything has increased the human capacity index. The plagues, famines, and wars that once threatened the survival and development of human beings for a long time have been overcome, and Homo sapiens face new to-do issues: immortality, happiness, and becoming "divine" human beings.

If you close the book, you will find the world hasn't changed at all, as evidenced by remaining trade frictions, encirclement, rising and suppression, as well as populism and open cooperation. What will happen in the book perhaps won't become a reality. Moreover, it still works to pay only attention to one's own development. And nothing seems to have changed.
