Li Haibo has long been engaged in experimental research of high-energy physics, including flavor physics such as the generation and decay of heavy flavor mesons and baryons, CP violation, hadron spectroscopy, and muon physics. He has participated in large international cooperation experiments such as BESI, BESII, ALEPH, BaBar, BESIII, and COMET in Japan. He has published over 200 papers alone or in cooperation with others, including over 20 PRL papers. Since 2005, he has made more than 20 special lectures at key international academic conferences such as the International Symposium on Lepton Photon Interactions at High Energies and the International Conference on Hadron Physics. He was a member of the advisory committees of the International Symposium on Lepton Photon Interactions at High Energies, the International Conference on Charmonium Physics, the International Conference on Heavy Quark and Lepton Physics, NuFact, and other international conferences. He was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2011 and elected as a leading talent of the Ten Thousand Talents Program in 2016. He serves as deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Physics C and Frontiers of Physics.

Introduction to the lecture:

After the discovery of the Higgs boson, the standard model was a great success, and we didn't find any new physical signs obviously beyond the model in the laboratory. However, dark matter, baryon asymmetry/matter-antimatter asymmetry of the universe, and masses of elementary fermions all suggest that there are new physics beyond the standard model. High luminosity experiments related to flavor physics are indispensable in the search for new physics. This report attempts to analyze the use of high luminosity muon sources to search for possible new physics, as well as the exploration of high luminosity frontier experiments that challenge the standard model.
