Yang Xiaolu, the first Doctor of Music trained in China, is deputy director of Li Zhengdao Science and Art Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), dean of Li Zhengdao School of Science and Art of Southwest University, secretary-general of the Science and Art Committee of the International Scientific Exchange Foundation of China, expert of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Education, professor of the Communication University of China, and specially appointed expert of Xiamen University. He is a famous TV program planner of CCTV and a member of the judging panels of the China "Five-One Project" Award, China TV Golden Eagle Award, China Golden Record Award, and CCTV Chinese Music TV Competition. He is the author of dozens of monographs, including An Appreciation Dictionary of Chinese and Foreign Songs, Chinese Music and National Etiquette, and Music Television (MTV) Choreography Art, and has filmed dozens of MVs such as Happiness Comes, Light March, Fragrance of Anise, Kite, and Man in the World. Among them, The Sanmenxia Dam Capriccio won the silver award. His full-length historical and cultural documentary Entering the Himalayas won the outstanding documentary director award. His TV series Jiangyin Fortress won the best TV film award. He enjoys a good reputation in Chinese music and media.

Audiovisual language is a combination of science and art. This form of language is an outcome of a certain stage of history with the combined development of science and technology and art. Audiovisual language was originally represented by film language. From silent films to sound films, film language has created abundant expression forms. Since then, audiovisual language has continuously enriched its artistic expression functions from radio to television and from simulation technology to digital technology.
With the progress of science and technology, audiovisual language entered the digital era, and its expression developed to a higher level. There was no comparison with the past in terms of sound quality, picture quality, recording technology, and photography technology.
Today, audiovisual language has entered the era of digital convergence media. With the emergence of short videos, audiovisual language has ushered in a new phase and become an indispensable tool for people to exchange emotions, obtain information, and conduct business activities.
