The School of Intelligent Science and Technology is jointly established by Zhejiang Lab, CAS Institute of Computing Technology andCASInstitute of Software. It seeks to give full play to the advantages of various talents and scientific research conditions, to quickly build a good scientific research and teaching environment, to meet the major strategic needs of the nation, to train high-quality talents in the field of intelligent science and technology.

Relying on the existing research bases of Zhejiang Lab, CAS Institute of Computing Technology, CAS Institute of Software and other institutes, the School of Intelligent Science and Technology has formulated major research breakthrough directions and key cultivation directions around the strategic needs of the nation. Through major technological breakthroughs, the school will become a training base for outstanding talents in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent architecture, intelligent software and theory, form research centers with distinctive characteristics and outstanding teaching research teams. Following the education philosophy of “fusion of scientific research and teaching, morality cultivation and capacity-building, adapting measures to local conditions and serving Zhejiang”, it seeks to integrate education, scientific research and industrialization.
