Key Laboratory of Systems Health Science of Zhejiang Province

Positioned in the field of systems health science and focusing on the construction of a first-class international interdisciplinary and convergence research platform, it is engaged in acquisition and analysis of biological “multi-omics” big data on physiological and pathological activities as well as health status of individuals. With emphasis on basic and applied research geared to the nation’s major health needs, it promotes a series of transfer and transformation on health science research results. Currently, the supporting unit of the key laboratory was changed into the UCAS, while Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study serves as the host for its construction and administration. In November 2020, it entered the list of “Key Laboratory of Systems Health Science of Zhejiang Province”. Thus, the laboratory will focus on platform construction of the systemshealth science, implementation of category-B pilot projects on the big data of Chinese population health and the construction of the “Active Health Convergence Technology Center of the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study”.
