Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS, implements the development strategy of “one core and two wings”. It’s an important “one-wing” to construct new industry transformation and incubation bases to support and serve the innovative and entrepreneurial activities of researchers at different levels in all subsidiaries of the CAS in Hangzhou. The Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study has established the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Industrial Incubation, whose main business is centered on the transfer and transformation of the achievements of the institutes of the CAS as well as innovation and entrepreneurship, science and technology service, science and technology finance, intellectual property operation, joint research and development centers (between universities and enterprises), etc. Moreover, it’s committed to providing other scientific institutes and individuals in Zhejiang Province and the Yangtze River Delta with support on their innovation and entrepreneurial activities.The center, guided by the development philosophy of the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, strives to be a domestically and globally renowned center in innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial transformation incubation integrating “education, scientific research, industrialization”, which is not only consistent with China’s national conditions but also endowed with the characteristics of the CAS and Hangzhou.
