On the morning of March 24, a delegation led by Zheng Yuhua, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Lab, visited the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), UCAS. Zheng Chonghui, Executive Vice President of HIAS, accompanied the delegation and attended the symposium.
At the symposium, the two sides fully discussed the construction ideas and related issues of the School of Intelligent Technology of HIAS, UCAS. Zheng Chonghui pointed out that the joint construction of the HIAS School of Intelligent Technology is an important measure to implement the instructions of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) for HIAS, and is also the key work of HIAS in the field of intelligent technology at this stage. Zheng Chonghui stressed that he hoped to promote the construction of the School of Intelligent Technology as soon as possible. In the future, HIAS will focus on the teaching and talent training of the School, and take the opportunity of cooperation and co-construction to further increase the entry point of HIAS construction and development, and serve the local economy in the whole province.
Zheng Yuhua pointed out that Zhejiang Lab attaches great importance to the construction of the HIAS School of Intelligent Technology. As the only output point of the current teaching of Zhejiang Lab, HIAS and Zhejiang Lab jointly cultivate talents, which will further open up channels for teaching and scientific research. Zhejiang Lab will also rely on the existing advantageous resources to vigorously support the co-construction of the School of Intelligent Technology. Zheng Yuhua emphasized that based on the advantages of Zhejiang Lab in Hangzhou and in combination with the development of HIAS, the two sides will work together to jointly make HIAS School of Intelligent Technology bigger and stronger, make it more distinctive and better serve the regional economy.
Relevant members of the special team of the Zhejiang Lab for promoting cooperation with the CAS and the comprehensive coordination team of the Zhejiang Lab co-built by HIAS attended the symposium.
