How can we combine the talent resources of universities and research institutes with the technical needs of enterprises? How can we accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements of universities and colleges in Jiande and boost the development of enterprises? On April 7, Jiande City released the 2021 Technical Demand List of "Competition for Critical Projects" and carried out a special technical exchange activity on the green chemical industry at the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), UCAS.
"This is not only a technical problem for enterprise development, but also a 'bottleneck' problem for the development of Jiande." He Yixing, a member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Jiande Municipal Committee, said with sincerity, "I hope experts from universities can actively cooperate with enterprises to help solve the problem as soon as possible."
It's said that since the start of the "Competition for Critical Projects" work in 2020, Jiande City has collected 171 technical problems and demands from enterprises, which are mainly concentrated on biomedicine, new materials, high-tech services, new energy and energy conservation, advanced manufacturing and automation, etc. Among them, there are 76 demands in chemical technology, accounting for 44.4%. There are 33 items on the list of "Competition for Critical Projects", with a total amount of RMB 90 million, and the average amount for each item reaches more than RMB 2 million. Among them, the amount of technical demands of Wynca Group that have been met reaches RMB 8 million, and that of Jiande Xinding Fiber Material Co. Ltd. reaches RMB 15 million.
At present, the winners of 6 projects have been selected through the competitions and 4 technical problems have been tackled, of which Wynca Group has reached a cooperation intention with universities through the "Competition for Critical Projects".
In this activity, relying on the expert resources of UCAS, HIAS, Jiande invited professors from HIAS to give targeted achievements introduction and technical publicity on the technical problems of local chemical enterprises, which not only further deepened the cooperation between Jiande and HIAS, but also strongly promoted the solution of technical problems of enterprises.
In the exchange of experts and enterprises, Professor Cai Yaqi from HIAS in the field of ecological environment showed great interest in the technical problems raised by Zhejiang Dayang Biotech Group Co., Ltd. Cai Yaqi pointed out, "This is a common problem in the industry and also one of the research interests of our team. We hope to solve practical problems for enterprises with our own technologies." Through the matchmaking with the enterprise, both parties reached an intention to know more information.
Fu Yongwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jiande Municipal Committee and Mayor of Jiande, stressed in his speech, "In recent years, Jiande has continuously improved its science and technology and talent policies to create a good environment for attracting talents. At present, Jiande has signed cooperation agreements with more than 10 universities and research institutes in China. We hope to take this activity as an opportunity to strengthen all-round cooperation with HIAS."
