Congratulations: The First Postdoctoral Fellow of HIAS Has Completed Research

党健鹏

On December 9, the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering of Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), UCAS organized the first postdoctoral fellow project completion assessment meeting. Before the meeting, Zheng Chonghui, Executive Vice President of HIAS, delivered an opening speech, in which he reviewed the establishment of the Postdoctoral Research Station and affirmed its achievements.

After careful evaluation, the committee unanimously agreed that the postdoctoral fellow has successfully completed his research. After the assessment meeting, Wang Jianyu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of HIAS, issued a certificate to the postdoctoral fellow, congratulating him on becoming HIAS's first postdoctoral fellow to successfully complete the research project.

On October 23, 2019, the Postdoctoral Research Station of HIAS was established with the approval of the Postdoctoral Office of Zhejiang Province. On January 1, 2019, Wang Yikun, the first postdoctoral fellow, was officially recruited. His completion of the postdoctoral project represents HIAS's phased achievement in postdoctoral research.Postdoctoral fellows are a vital addition to HIAS's scientific research group. They play an important role in the institute's scientific research system. In the future, HIAS will lay more emphasis on the introduction of talents, improve the postdoctoral training system, and innovate the talent development system,so that talents from all over the world may join HIAS in its development.

Resume

Wang Yikun (male) graduated from Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a doctor's degree in 2015. In January 2020,he joined the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering (Key Laboratory of Gravitational Wave Precision Measurement of Zhejiang Province) for research as the first postdoctoral fellow since the establishment of HIAS. His cooperative supervisor was Academician Wang Jianyu, an expert in optoelectronic technology.During the postdoctoral research, Wang Yikun focused on the cutting-edge Taiji Program concerning space gravitational wave exploration. Under the strategic pilot special task of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, he studied intersatellite laser interference and semi-physical simulation test technology, and conducted research and verification on key technologies regarding the establishment of space ultra-long-distance intersatellite laser interference link. His work resulted in a link whose direction jitter reached 20.25nrad/√Hz.Overall, the technical indicators kept pace with those reported publicly by NASA and ESA.In addition, he has built a first-class laboratory for overall load testing based on integrated semi-physical simulation. After two years of research, the laboratory has preliminarily met the conditions for semi-physical simulation testing of intersatellite laser interference, laying a solid foundation for the integrated overall load testing of gravitational wave detection satellites.
