
Ma Yongliang, a professor and doctoral supervisor, is the Secretary and Vice Dean of the School of Fundamental Physics and Mathematical Sciences.
In 2006, he received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in research on the properties of dense nuclear matter for a long time and has achieved many innovative achievements. He successively worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Tübingen, Germany, an associate research fellow at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a research assistant professor at Nagoya University, Japan. In 2014, he returned to China to work at Jilin University, and serves as a professor, doctoral supervisor, Director of the Center for Theoretical Physics, and Vice Dean of the College of Physics of the university. In 2020, he started to serve as a professor at the School of Fundamental Physics and Mathematical Sciences of Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS. He is presiding over or completing 9 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published nearly 50 papers inPhys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev., Phys. Lett. B, etc., as well as an English academic monograph. His works have been cited more than 1,000 times.
His main research interests are particle physics and nuclear physics.
