Peng Xiaodong

Peng Xiaodong is a research fellow and doctoral supervisor at the National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a double-employed professor at the School of Fundamental Physics and Mathematical Sciences of Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS.

September 1998-July 2002: He was an undergraduate in the Department of Communication Engineering of Xidian University.

September 2003-July 2008: He was a Ph.D. candidate at the Moving Target Detection Laboratory of Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

December 2008-December 2015: He was an associate research fellow at the System Simulation and Demonstration Laboratory of the National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

December 2015-Present: He is a research fellow and Director of the System Simulation and Demonstration Laboratory of the National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

His main research fields are complex system simulation and space science mission demonstration. As the person in charge, he has successively undertaken 13 national-level projects and topics, such as the demonstration system of a pilot special space science mission, the collaborative design and simulation evaluation system of a space system, the operation of a pilot special space science satellite mission, the scientific operation of Mars exploration project, and the ground application system of the meridian sounding rocket, among which there are 2 major engineering projects,1 National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), and 4 fund-supported projects. He has won the second prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and obtained over 10 software copyrights and 3 patents.
