
Piao Yunsong is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a professor at the School of Fundamental Physics and Mathematical Sciences of Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS.
September 1993-July 1998: He studied at the University of Science and Technology of China for a bachelor's degree.
September 1998-July 2003: He studied at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences for a master's degree and a doctoral degree.
August 2003-May 2005: He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Interdisciplinary Center for Theoretical Study of the Institute of High Energy Physics and the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
June 2005-May 2009: He was an associate professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
June 2009-Present: He is a professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
His main research interests are the initial state of the big bang universe, singularities of time and space, quantum gravity, gravitational waves, etc.
