Li Chunlai is a doctor and research fellow. He has long been engaged in the research of space infrared and spectroscopic technology. For the Lunar Exploration Program, he studied the design of the staring infrared imaging spectrometer system and the high-sensitivity acquisition method of weak signal, which solved the problem of high-sensitivity acquisition of weak spectral signal under low illumination and harsh environment, and has been successfully applied to Chang'e series spectral imaging loads. He has carried out research on advanced thermal infrared hyperspectral remote sensing technology, making breakthroughs in key technologies such as thermal infrared fine spectroscopy, very long wave focal plane assembly and signal acquisition, and low-temperature optical engineering implementation. As the main technical principal, he completed the first thermal infrared hyperspectral imager in China, expanding the application fields of hyperspectral mineral exploration, pollution monitoring, and camouflage identification. Facing the demand of the next generation space equipment hyperspectral system construction, he carried out research on the new system and engineering exploration of computational spectral imaging, focusing on technologies such as modeling and simulation of the whole link of computational spectral imaging, fast coding and reconstruction of the three-dimensional atlas, intelligent hyperspectral detection and identification of dynamic targets, etc. Since 2016, he has undertaken five national projects as the person in charge, with accumulated funds exceeding RMB 25 million.
