
Wang Jianlu is a research fellow and doctoral supervisor. He has won talent programs and awards such as the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Excellent Young Scientists Fund of China, Shanghai Youth May 4th Medal, and an excellent member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He is mainly engaged in the research and application development of new photoelectric detection materials, physics, devices and chips. He has presided over more than 10 national projects successively, and published more than 70 SCI papers as the first/correspondent author, including those published in journals such asNat. Electron.,Nat. Commun., andAdv. Mater., and has obtained 13 authorized invention patents in China. He currently serves as a member of the editorial board of theJournal of Infrared and Millimeter WavesandJournal of Semiconductors, and a special editorial board member ofChinese Physics B. He also serves as a reviewer of papers in more than 20 international journals.
In terms of postgraduate training, he focuses on cultivating students' ability to discover, analyze and solve problems, encourages postgraduates to make original explorations based on full investigations, and requires the combination of theory and practice. Based on the characteristics of postgraduates, he guides and cultivates their ability to independently carry out scientific research activities, actively supports them to participate in relevant training on capacity development, and encourages them to participate in international academic visits and exchanges.
