Chen Xiaoshuang

He is a research fellow, doctoral supervisor, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Infrared Physics, and leader of a special project funded by the National Key R&D Program.

He was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the Shanghai Rising-Star Program, the Shanghai Excellent Discipline Leader Program, and the Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader Program and selected as a national candidate for the New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project. He enjoys the special government allowance granted by the State Council. His awards and prizes include: one Second Prize of State Natural Science Award; one Second Prize of State Technological Innovation Award; one Shanghai Municipal Natural Science Peony Award; one First Prize of Natural Science Award of Shanghai; and four other science and technology progress awards at the provincial and ministerial level. He has been granted the Excellent Doctoral Supervisor Award and the Excellent Graduate Supervisor Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences many times.
