Dai Ning
He is a research fellow, doctoral supervisor, and senior expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
He has long been researching the growth and optical properties of semiconductor quantum wells and superlattices, especially spintronics. He has published more than 200 papers in international journals. He has chaired and undertaken many research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the People's Republic of China and NSFC (national level), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Shanghai. These include: the "Solar Cell Technology Research" project funded by the Program for Innovation Teams on International Cooperation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Project Leader); the "Basic Research on Solar Photovoltaic Conversion Based on Nanomaterials" project funded by the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) of MOST (Chief Scientist); and the "Fundamental Theories and Key Technology of Long-Wave Infrared Focal Plane Devices" project funded by the NSFC Key Program (2012) during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period (Chief Scientist).
