Zhang Long

As a research fellow and doctoral supervisor, he is Deputy Director of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Director of the Key Laboratory of High Power Laser Materials, CAS. He was the Outstanding Young Talent awarded by the Science and Technology Commission of the Central Military Commission, the Distinguished Young Scholar awarded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Advanced Science and Technology Worker, the Young and Middle-Aged Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and the Shanghai Excellent Discipline Leader.

Serving as Deputy Head of the Materials and Components Expert Group in a certain field of the 863 Program, he is also an expert group head in a specific field under the Science and Technology Commission of the Central Military Commission, leading expert of the basic application group for a national major special project, and member of an expert group under the Equipment Development Department.
