
He Jin, male, is a research fellow and doctoral supervisor at the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He graduated from Central South University with a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2009 and received his doctor's degree in Materials Science from SIOM in 2014. Later, he did postdoctoral research at the University of Manchester and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. In March 2020, supported by the Talent Program of CAS, he returned to SIOM
as a researcher in photoelectric functional hybrid materials. His research interests mainly include sol-gel materials, molecularly doped metal materials, photofunctional mesoporous glass, and 3D printing photonics. He has published 19 papers in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Matter, Acta Mater. and other academic journals, including 10 papers with him as the first/corresponding author. He also owns 4 authorized invention patents. He has been selected for the Shanghai Program for High-Level Overseas Talents Introduction and the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program.
