Wang Wenzhong graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1998 with a Doctor of Science degree. He studied in the United States from 1999 to 2003. He has been engaged in the research of energy and environmental catalytic materials for a long time, and has made systematic and innovative contributions to the design of components and structures, synthesis and catalytic mechanism of photocatalytic materials. The series of photocatalysts developed by him show outstanding performance in the reduction of gas and liquid phase pollutants. He has made remarkable progress in artificial nitrogen fixation, C1 chemistry and selective catalysis. He presided over a number of scientific research projects such as the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the important directional program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the nanotechnology project of Shanghai, and projects entrusted by enterprises, and participated in a number of research projects such as the 973 Program, the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the major nano project of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. He has published more than 150 papers in SCI journals such asNature Commun.andACS Catal.,which have been cited more than 10,000 times, and he has obtained more than 10 authorized invention patents.
