Wang Genshui, a doctor, research fellow and doctoral supervisor, is an outstanding talent introduced by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mainly focusing on researching functional ceramic materials and devices, Mr. Wang has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai. The ferroelectric, pyroelectric and antiferroelectric materials developed under his leadership have been put into engineering application. He has published more than 110 papers inSci. Adv., Nat. Comm., J. Am. Ceram. Soc.and other academic journals as the first/corresponding author, with more than 50 authorized Chinese invention patents. He has been included in the Shanghai Rising-Star Program and Shanghai Rising-Star Tracking Program and granted the Liu Dagang Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Award, the Science and Technology Leading Talent Award of Jiading District, Shanghai and the Outstanding Talent Award sponsored by the NSAF Fund jointly set up by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics. He also serves as Vice President of the Shanghai Society of Infrared and Remote Sensing and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of theJournal of Inorganic Materials.
