Ding Yusheng graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a D.E. degree in 2007. He has long been engaged in research on ceramic matrix composites and their engineering applications: including basic research on composition, structure and stress coupling enhancement of ceramic matrix composites; research on the development and application of high temperature and oxidation resistant ceramic matrix composites; research on the development and application of ceramic matrix composites featuring low expansion and high stability. Several ceramic matrix composite components developed under his leadership have been applied in many important models in China and met the needs of China's major model tasks. He has won two Second Prizes of State Technological Innovation Award, one First Prize of Technological Innovation Award of China Building Materials Federation, and one Third Prize of National Defense Science and Technology Invention Award. He has published more than 20 papers in core journals at home and abroad and applied for more than 20 invention patents.
