Qiu Pengfei graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a D.E. degree in 2011.He currently researches the screening and performance optimization of low-cost environment-friendly thermoelectric materials, enhancement of the service stability, and design and development of new thermoelectric devices. He has published a total of 83 papers inNat. Mater., Nat. Commun., Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Mater., Adv. Func. Mater., Jouleand other journals. Among them, 6 were published inEnergy Environ. Sci., 4 inAdv. Mater., and 3 inAdv. Func. Mater.; 43 were published by Mr. Qiu as the first/corresponding author, and 20 had an impact factor of more than 10. He has applied for 16 Chinese invention patents, 10 of which were granted. As a project leader, he has undertaken one project funded by the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one funded by the NSFC Excellent Young Scientists Fund. He has also participated in many important research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipality as the core researcher.He was included in the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS in 2016 and the Shanghai Rising-Star Program (Class A) in 2019.
