Ma Ming

Ma Ming graduated from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a bachelor's degree in 2008 and from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) with a doctor's degree in 2013. Focusing on nanobiomaterials, he is dedicated to exploring the potential of applying new materials to disease treatment and diagnosis. His research interests mainly include: 1. constructing intelligent and multifunctional nanodrug carriers using new emulsification, high throughput and microfluidic technologies; 2. inventing nanomaterials for stem cell tracking and for treatment. He is chairing the projects funded by the Shanghai Rising-Star Program, the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS and the Natural Science Fund of Shanghai and the industrialization innovation projects of the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics. He is also part of a project supported by the National Key R&D Program and Shanghai's basic research projects as a key project member. He has published 20 papers inAdvanced Materials,Advanced Functional Materialsand other journals as the first/corresponding author, with four authorized national invention patents.
