Wang Jing received her bachelor's degree from the School of Chemistry, Sichuan University in 2005 and her Ph.D. degree from the School of Life Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China in 2010. From 2010 to 2016, he worked as a research assistant at the Scripps Research Institute in the United States. In 2016, she became a research fellow of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
She has published 13 papers inMolecular Cell,Nat. Chem. Biol.,Nature Communications,PNAS, etc., and applied for 3 patents, including one PCT patent. Field of research: Focusing on the key human MiT/TFE transcription factor family proteins, combined with a variety of interdisciplinary methods to study the mechanism of Mi/TFE family proteins under various physiological and pathological conditions, and based on that to develop specific targeted small molecule compounds for new drug creation and conduct cross-scale research on "molecule-cell-animal-lead drugs".
