
Ji Hongbin has long been engaged in the molecular mechanism research of tumor pathogenesis.
He studied at Jilin University for a bachelor's degree from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 2000, he studied at the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences for a Ph.D. degree. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Medical School in 2000-2007. Since 2007, he has been a research fellow and doctoral supervisor of the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has long been engaged in research on the molecular mechanism of lung cancer, and has made a series of original scientific research achievements. So far, he has published more than 130 papers, among which, he has published more than 60 papers in journals such asNature, Cancer Cell, Nature Genetics, Journal of Clinical Investigations, Journal of Clinical Oncology, PNAS, etc. as the first or correspondent author. He has won awards including the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program Award, Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Innovators of Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Branch, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the 7th Shanghai Young Talent in Science and Technology, Shanghai Academic Research Leader, the second prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. He is currently an editorial board member of theChinese Journal of Oncology,Thoracic CancerandChinese Journal of Lung Cancer;Vice Chairman of Shanghai Molecular Targeted Therapy and Immunotherapy Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, and a member of the Tumor Metastasis Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, Lung Cancer Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, and Chest Cancer Branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care.
