Liu Mofang

Liu Mofang received her bachelor's and master's degrees from East China University Of Science and Technology in 1991 and 1994 respectively, and her Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2000. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute from 2000 to 2005 and a research assistant in the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2006. Since 2006, she has served as Co-PI, Director of RNA Research Technology Platform, and principal investigator at SIBCB, CAS. She was selected as a candidate for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2013, the National Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project in 2017, and the Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talents for National Ten Thousand Talents Program in 2018. She serves as the editorial board member of theJournal of Biological Chemistry,Biology of Reproductionand other journals, as well as Executive Director of the Council of Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Deputy Director of the Committee for RNA.
