Geng Meiyu

Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Doctoral Supervisor

Geng Meiyu is mainly engaged in anti-Alzheimer's disease and anti-tumor drug development and biomarker research. As the main inventor, she has developed more than 10 anti-tumor drug candidates, and 4 of them have entered clinical research. Around the bottleneck in the clinical treatment of drug candidates under research, she carried out research on the mechanism of drug action and biomarkers and found more than 10 markers of drug sensitivity and efficacy monitoring. She has applied for more than 200 invention patents at home and abroad and published more than 230 SCI papers in international journals such asCell,Cancer Cell,Cell Res.,Hepatology,Cancer Res.,Clin. Cancer Res.

She was a winner of the Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wu Jieping-Paul Janssen Medical & Pharmaceutical Award, and one of the Top 10 Science and Technology Innovators of 2018 of the Sci-Tech program held by CCTV.
