Xie Xin
Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Research Fellow, and Doctoral Supervisor
Xie Xin focuses on the discovery and research of new drugs based on G protein-coupled receptors and pluripotent stem cells, including the study of the role of G protein-coupled receptors in major diseases (such as autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases and tumors) and discovery of drug targets, construction of high-throughput screening technology platform and new drug screening, and discovery, mechanism and disease relevance of small molecules that regulate stem cell fate. She has published more than 100 SCI papers in international journals such asCell Res.,Nature Commu.,Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci., and obtained more than 10 authorized patents and 1 new drug clinical approval.
She has been selected as Shanghai Academic Research Leader and Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation of the national Ten Thousand Talents Program, as well as a candidate for the New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project and Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program. She has won the National Outstanding Young Female Scientist Award and China Youth Science and Technology Award. She is also an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council with the title of March 8th Red Banner Pacesetter.
