Wang Yawei

Wang Yawei is a research fellow and deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology. He is a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Excellent Young Scientists Fund. He was selected as Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation and Young Top-notch Talent for the Ten Thousand Talents Program launched by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

He is engaged in research on methods for the analysis of new organic pollutants, environmental behavior, and migration and transformation. He was awarded the Young Scientist Award of CAS, the Young Chemistry Award of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Lu Jiaxi Young Talent Award of CAS, and the Distinguished Scientific Achievement Award of CAS (main contributor). So far, he has published more than 140 SCI papers, including more than 40 papers in the famous journalEnvironmental Science & Technology. He is the current chairman of the Environmental Chemistry Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences and an editorial board member ofEnvironmental Chemistry.
