Hu Ligang
He graduated from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1997 and received his Ph.D. degree from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. He conducted postdoctoral research at Florida International University from 2006 to 2009 and the University of Hong Kong from 2010 to 2014.
In recent years, he has been engaged in the research of environmental health effects and environmental geochemical cycles of metals, including 1) metallomics methodology research and instrument platform development; 2) research on the mechanism of health effects of metal pollutants; 3) research on bacteria-mediated transformation and hyperaccumulation of metal forms. His related research findings have been published in international authoritative journals, such asPNAS,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Chem. Sci., andEnviron. Sci. Technol.
